Refund and Returns Policy

Definitions

  • Company: AFTERPAY PHONES TRADING FZE LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

  • Customer: Any individual or entity purchasing from AFTERPAY PHONES within the UAE.

  • Products: New mobile phones, refurbished mobile phones, mobile accessories, and gadgets.

  • Website: afterpayphones.ae


General Guidelines for All Returns

  • Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

  • All items must be returned in original packaging with all included accessories/documents.

  • Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval.

  • Refunds are completed within 7–10 business days.

  • Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.


1. Refurbished Mobile Phones

Change of Mind Returns

  • Eligible within 10 days of delivery.

  • Device must be unused, untampered, and in original packaging.

  • Deductions:

    • 0–20% of item value (operational costs).

    • Shipping fees up to AED 150.

Opened Packaging but Not Defective

  • If the phone is opened but unused, scratch-free, and not defective:

    • A flat 20% deduction applies.

    • Shipping fees up to AED 150 will be deducted.

Defective or Incorrect Product

  • If the product is faulty or wrong model delivered:

    • Eligible for replacement or refund.

    • Subject to inspection by our technical team.


2. New Mobile Phones

  • Warranty: Covered by the official manufacturer’s warranty in the UAE. Claims must be raised at the brand’s service center.

  • Refund/Return:

    • Not returnable if the box is opened.

    • If sealed, a refund is possible with a flat AED 50 deduction.

  • Defective Units: Service and replacement handled through the brand’s authorized warranty centers.


3. Mobile Accessories & Gadgets

  • Return Window: 3 days from delivery.

  • Unopened Items: Eligible for refund (return shipping at customer’s cost).

  • Opened Items: Will be inspected; refund or exchange subject to inspection results.


Refund Method

  • Online Payments: Refunded to the original payment method.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunded via UAE bank transfer.


Shipping Responsibility

  • Return shipping charges are paid by the customer.

  • Even if the original order had free delivery, the return courier charge is borne by the customer.

  • Returned items must be securely packed to prevent transit damage.


Step-by-Step Return Request Process

  1. Email Request

    • Send an email to support@afterpayphones.ae within 48 hours of delivery.

    • Include:

      • Order number

      • Contact details (phone & address)

      • Reason for return

  2. Attach Photos (3 Images Required)

    • Photo 1: Product front view in original condition

    • Photo 2: Box/packaging (sealed or opened)

    • Photo 3: Invoice or delivery receipt

  3. Inspection & Approval

    • Our team will review your request and photos.

    • If approved, you will receive confirmation with return instructions.

  4. Return Shipping

    • Customer arranges courier drop-off/pick-up at their own expense (as per UAE return practices).

    • Tracking number must be shared with us once shipped back.

  5. Final Inspection & Refund

    • On receiving the product, our technical team inspects it.

    • If conditions match the return policy, refund is processed within 7–10 working days.

    • Refund is issued via original payment method or UAE bank transfer (for COD orders).
